Feast
We are choosing to celebrate.
Celebrating now, in the midst of everything, that we are here, and that we are together.
Feast is our community’s third and final show for this year.
In our first show, Gather, we shared the individual work of our community members side by side. It was the first time we had seen the works together in this way and we were curious to see what emerged from this juxtaposition. Also, it sounded like fun to have our own gallery, a place where we could share what felt ready to share.
For our second show, Brew, we explored how the individual contributions by each member are tending to something collective and transformed. As we do each day in our community, in Brew we shared work that is in progress and in process as an invitation to engage with our community in the same way we engage with one another, through what is emerging: this includes the work of our eyes, ears, hands, hearts, mouths, lungs, and legs, together with a culture of us.
Now in our final show of the year, Feast, we are elevating this moment, paying attention to what we can share, what is, what is no longer, what might be. We are holding past, present, and future in our mind with thankfulness.
Celebrating the enough that we are, knowing that together we are more, that our more becomes a welcoming–an available chair, a place at the table for you to join us too.
We invite you.
